I got this crazy email before; have no idea what it's about, so I could put it down to spam only for the fact that he/she/it knows I'm blind. Um,
here it is:
From: "Jenny Bomareto" <goldie97@mho.com>
Subject: It's getting closer.

Hey Rachel,

In two-days is Mark. I get to do meet and greet. Mark's present is
already wrapped. It's even in a frame and it's an 8 by 10. If you have
someone sighted that can describe it to you then I'll send it. Not until
you give the suggestion though. On the front of the gift bag is this little
chain thing that says fabulous on it. Inside the gift bag I also wrote a
letter to Mark explaining to him what inspired for me to join the Lions
club. I also purchased a card from the store too. There is also a
zip-lock bag in the gift bag with two pins in it that you write with one pin
has the name of Dad's company Trico Driveshaft on it and the other pin has
Bomareto Pump and Well.

Best Wishes,
Fan of Mark Chesnutt

Ah well; off to the shops to get me a pie for a late lunch.
Til Next time, RdFreak

Hi, Rachel! It's certainly weird that this person should know your name and that you are blind, but, if you don't know the sender of the email, nor this person Mark whom she's referring to, I think you should consider this email as spam. I personally never open emails from people with names I don't recognise, in fact I usually delete such emails without reading them, unless they come from mailing lists or are obviously replies to messages I have sent myself: luckily, I haven't been caught out too many times and missed out on legitimate emails. Obviously, it's entirely up to you what you do about this weird email, I'm just giving my opinion of it here, and an idea what I would have done in your situation.

Hey Rachael. Jenny is on the Jaws users list. Marc Chesnut is a country singer who had hits mainly in the mid nineties. She was referring to a gift for Marc at his concert. I Googled her name and found the Jaws info because of her postings to those types of lists. Now I guess you have to figure out why she e-mailed you. Good work on the looping things with the Kaossilator. Matthew Bullis

Hello, Kaossilator is going fine. I listened back to my review, and I did neglect to say that it had no speaker, but any speaker would detract from the spatial quality of the sounds. I see you on Skype quite a bit, but your status is always Away. Have you installed Skype Talking? It makes using Skype much easier, by giving you easy keystrokes you can use from anywhere. Matthew

Yeh, it kinda sucks that it doesn't have a speaker, but I guess it'd be too small to have one.
I don't use skype a lot. am waiting til I can get myself a wireless headset, then I can talk form anywhere in the house. :)
