yes actually I haven't disallowed anonymous postings which means if you check the anonymous box then your user name won't show up and you will therefore be replying as "anonymous". On yours, you will see it say "this user has disallowed anonymous postings" which, in your case, more so means that because your LJ is entirely "friends only", that's just your automatic setting.
