stupid elections

rdfreakSo I decide to go to bed and get myself updated on my friends page, but it's full of my ausie/Melbourne communities' anger and dismay and .. all that jazz that I really don't wish to be reading at 11.05 PM on a Sat night. I am wondering what the youth of this country is coming too? I would have thought they'd all be out clubbin and stuff .. but I guess not. .. anyway protests are pointless. Um, we had an election and Howard got in again; like a protest is going to do anything.
Dunno .. don't care. well actually, why all this sudden talk about politics in my LJ; there must be something very wrong with me!
I just hope that Howard keeps his promises this time around cos some of the stuff that has happened of late, even I know, has made me sad! :(
OK I go and hopefully find a clear patch of page.
