Aug. 24th, 2004 09:34 amso yesterday I was going to go into school -- truly I so was, but .. it turned out O had emailed me and told me that she had caught one of those nasty bugs. I am so glad she emailed. Know what I'm like around that! I still get way too anxious!
It's really lovely cos we all do our best to let each other know so we're not going to school for no reason. everyone in our class doubles/tripples up on SMS's, but it's nice! I sent a multi one to everyone who'd already found out i think Lol! In saying all that though I was meant to go by now but .. I slept in and .. I needed it. since, it was my "every second night" last night which meant .. i slept right through!
Oh yesterday before I went on line and got O's email, I ccalled TPG and signed up for my ADSL. 49 a month for unlimitted everything! and I still get my ten Megs of web space. so that and my email address will stay the same, yeah! but he said it will take "eight to ten working days" for the installation to happen, doh! not fair! I was hoping to have it that same day. *frown* Anyway at least now I'll have a phone line free; no-one will be able to think up many excuses for not calling me no more! ha ha! and also I won't have to get off line every time I want to make an important, urgent call back! and everything will be faster, and I am told by so many that i " won't look back to dialup ever!" which I can understand! can't wait! Have heard since how good people find it and i tend to agree. TPG dialup is very impressive, so I don't see how ADSL can serve as any different.
Oh and yesterday I figured out how to use more of Steve's Clock It is way awesome. It actually took me a while to figure out that it was working fine on my puter and it was the owner that wasn't (got to hate admitting to that one :) but .. I had it entirely worked out by yesterday and have different voices for every fifteen min announcements! - Including friends voices. I hope to do one of my own one of these days! would be cool! (speak of the devil, I just heard an english dude! :)
This morning I checked my mobile as I had an unanswered SMS from Leigh

L: Are you angry at me or just surprised by what I told you last week?"
I sent him this email back and hope that he gets it otherwise I will get mad as it .. freaks me out! *screws face up*
I was a bit quick with that sms cos i didn't want to take up two of them. Lol what I said and meant was:
I was not mad, flattered but at the same time I do wish you'd stop talking to me about this "rot" (as i'd call it) considering the fact that we've had these discussions many many times before and you know I don't go for them, and no amount of pushing is going to get you anywhere because I do not plan on losing my virginity until I feel it absolutely right for me. ie. someone I truly love and care for in every humanly way possible. Sorry to be harsh but you have had problems understanding that in the past it would seem.
I've had to accept a lot myself as far as my love interest goes, and I've learnt the worst thing you can do is push them away by being insistent on something when ya already know the answer. It's hard but you just need to either deal with it or lose friends, and I know which one I'd prefer myself.

That was blunt, but honest and considering I certainly go out of my way to respect others myself, not to pester and pester, but he doesn't give a hoot! I can no longer count on my fingers the amount of times .. anyway .. forget it!
if he ever found out I posted that publically he'd probably shoot me - go him Lol .. but if others can learn by what's being said .. all-praise to me! :)

Oh yeah .. and yesterday - last night while getting my sausages off the George formum grill, the lid (which was hot as cos I'd just turned it off) slammed down on my hand. at first I knew it was bad, but not that bad. i soon felt pain and this big lumpy thing and it got me thinking how much worse it would be to be burnt all over like that. I thought my hand was bad! .. then .. Heartly got one of my sausages as one had flicked on to the floor with the whole move! and .. considering that I couldn't find it myself, I told her "if she could find it, she could have it" which is .. exactly what happened much to my disgust! I wanted that sausage!
On that note I leave to read my friends page.
