May. 4th, 2005 11:14 amWell today I was meant to meet Shel but again I put it off! wow, this is about the tenth time. but honestly I wanna join the ACBradio tuesday topics as it's gunna be about travel and I seriously felt i wanted to go and listen in as I'll be doing the same, and the only thing I am at all slightly anxious about is my interactions with staff who will need to assist me. I mean the time I flew once on my own from QLD to Melbourne (bout nine years ago?) as I didn't feel like driving back with me family Lol .. but that's only three hours! this is like almost 20 or somethin!
So I thought it would be cool if I went to that. so .. worth it! .. then tonight I'm going to parents for tea. Was going out with Dad but now am going there. I think I will take my minnydisc along so dad can maybe help me with it, though I need to get a power addapter for Aus. I hate how it's different! guess i'll have to get meself a few of them for when I go over there next month!
In other news I felt refreshed after class last night as discussed in Private entry last night, I will try to discover what's in the box! I hope too!
I guess I'll find out today when the funeral is. Mum goes "are you coming?" I'm like "yeah of course". she's like "I think you should for Chris" I'm like "I was going too" not just for Chris though but for Ian himself! he was one of the nicest people I had the pleasure of knowing! I hadn't seen him for a while. but I always knew what a loving family man he was. And I have fond memories of us all going down to romsey each year, and doing things that I never would have done, like fishing (experiencing being in the boat fishing is something I had never dreamed of doing), yabbying (and having another frend Corey, or was it Ben?) hipmotize (excuse spelling) them so us blindies could feel them, Ian and dave going out really early in the morning to collect fish (that they'd left the lines all night)
Oh and absailing (Ian brought down all the professional gear and was hoasting unofficial lessons),
all of the fathers playing swish against us children, going to the waterfall and walking under it then swimming in the freezing creek or paddling, (throwing rocks into the deep and getting told off), going for long walks to the wishingwell and having picnicks and treasure hunts for us kids!
hmmm off I went on that tanjent I didn't think I would have done yet. but man, such memories of those happy times! Now even Romsey has gone!
This NHBRadio msn account has a problem. Keeps signing in and out, in and out. Last time this happened I just deleted it Lol! "beep beep beep"
Yeah for minidiscs! and yeah for 54 days til US! :)
