home early!

Well, I left work at 4 (my normal time when doing my usual shifts) and was at Blackburn (not quite home, just station) in a record time of half an hour after. how? why? wow! I just got the connections straight away. And I think the 4.15 Belgrave train must have sped (even though they do go express anyway) it still sped, I'm sure of it! Lol
It's been 25 degrese today and it's still winter for four more days yet! It's not going to be so hot for the rest of the week but still pretty good!
Although I brought my yummy lunch today, I still went and got RB's, which was good; good to get out on such a nice day.
I walked to station this morning and had pretty good connections there too.
my knee seems to be OK now (touch wood). sometimes there's still a bit of pain all of a sudden but not sure if it's just me imagination, but it certainly didn't give me trouble after yesterday and today's walks. so guess i can bet it's OK.
Five consecutive weeks of work is what I have ahead of me (with two weeks of the fulltime shifts. Nothing else to look forward to atm except getting my trecker/maestro; yet I can still sometimes remain somewhat cheerful for the while.
Just can't believe i got home so quickly! amazing really!
