sick again, *sigh*
Nov. 14th, 2009 01:35 pmJust a quick post to say I am home, but I'm sick again! *sigh* seems I have some kind of flu.
Not sure why it's always me getting sick now; only had the cold a few weeks ago.
But am resting up this weekend, filling myself up with potions and pills, with the ideea that I'll be good enough to go back to guide dogs Monday.
I got home to find out I have a job offer; so exciting. But unfortunately due to this flu, I will be unable to attend the open day at the school tomorrow; that shouldn't really be a problem; i would have liked to go though, but at this stage, it's more important that I can continue my guide dog training. So I start work in January; fulltime too; squeeee!
I slept before as I accidently took my night time cold/flu tablet which meant it made me drowsy, but that's OK though; the more sleep, the better!
Anyway yesterday at GDV, everyone went on group walks along the yarra, but I didn't go cos my throat was already killing me. Then in the afo, before we came home, we had our dogs out in the big exercise run; again, i wasn't well though to stand outside in the heat, so Jane took Joy.
I have Heartly here too and worked her home from the docs yesterday. i was surprised that Jane actually told me I could still work her on weekends. The final papers won't be sined til the final week of class. :(
So off I go to have some cereal.
